Inspiration for my bathroom absolutely comes from Chase Booth's bathroom featured in Domino Magazine as well as the book. Every time I go back to this picture I remember just how beautiful it is.
Sleeping without Justin is like sleeping without a "bespart," as in "the silky part is the best part," blanket when I was a baby. Tossing and turning all night only to be woken up by my dog Ali is just too much, and to top it off all my thoughts came in the form of blog posts. Ahhhh! Needless to say I will be taking a break from blogging and counting the days until Justin comes home. Happy Holidays to all!
***side note on "bespart" blankets, one of my sisters had hers until it was nothing more than a knot made of the silky edge which she for some reason would stick up her nose! Eww! Makes me dread the day I have strange little ones of my own.***
Found these log bowls at ReForm School in Silverlake. Cute holiday gift ideas maybe?
Also found this on the ReForm School website. How awesome!
Cast Iron Fire Bowl $318.75 at DWR
Hotspot Revolver Fire Pit $204.99 at Target
Outdoor Firebowl w/ Folding Legs $89.99 at Target
Its cold out and I'm looking for an inexpensive outdoor fire pit...I might just get a pretty stone planter and make it into one, everything affordable looks a bit cheesy for me.
Finally the second issue of online magazine Lonny Magazine! I started to think this would never come and now it's like Christmas morning!
My fake Ray-Ban's are getting all scratched up and pealing. It might be time to think about getting the real thing.
Playing in the dirt with my new garden tools from my man. I can't even keep basil alive, wondering how I'm gonna manage a whole garden. Practicing being a lonely housewife, boring.
While driving around the other night trying to find a parking spot I came across this tulip style chair someone had put out with the trash. I just realized that I said I was over mid century in my last post, let me rephrase that, I am over most of my mid century furniture except for my chairs, which I will always love. Anywho I found this Krylon Fusion spray paint that bonds to plastic and fiberglass and gave this chair a new lease on life. Now for the cushion.
I forgot where I found this picture but I'm really loving the table. I'm getting so tired of all my mid century modern furniture kinda feeling something more industrial, simple.
