Honestly am I kidding myself? Can I really make this all by myself? Am I crazy? Justin don't answer that last one.
The weekend before last my friend Maria and I threw a baby shower for our super amazing friends Tina (who is literally about to pop) and Jim. On the menu we had creamy mushroom tartlets with manchego and sage, smoked salmon, creme fraiche and caviar on endive, prosciutto wrapped melon and of course a meat and cheese plate. For drinks we made bellinis and my all time favorite, the namesake drink from The Thirsty Crow. It was super fun and went really well but I'm still exhausted (for truth yo) and will definitely not be throwing any parties for a while...well unless you count my cowboys and Indians party but I'm still not even close to finishing the teepee!

Last Thursday was the Mona Moore party for Rodarte on Abbot Kinney. I went with my lovely family, had tons of fun meeting the sisters behind the line, and ended up on a fashion blog! Had to do a little bragging!
Another pretty little snippet from my main squeeze.
ps. check out the band's website here, and while your at it download their song and tell all your friends too!

West Elm Fall Preview = awesome! I'm especially loving the flat bar storage desk...and bookshelf...and printer caddy. Ok enough from me. Go look for yourself.
I spotted this mid century chair with back cushion covers on Rum and can't wait to grab mine out of storage and do the same thing! I'll definitely post pictures when I do. Woo woo!
Saw these over at all the mountians and had to share them here. I want a puffy thing to play on and a cloud man with a cloud baby!
If you're not already inebriated in some way, shape, or form Tame Impala's latest release Innerspeaker will make you want to be.
I'm in tea towel love, yes there is such a thing! I found these Suki Cheema textiles over at Bliss. He also makes amazing throws, quilts, coasters, and rugs with the same deigns.
I'd have to agree. Print available at Keep Calm Gallery.
I've been pretty obsessed with making my bedroom as simple and relaxing as possible, and I guess to me that means making everything white with a few black accents. I was even thinking of getting rid of my super awesome maple dresser in favor of a new low white one, then I got my senses back and decided on a white lacquer tray to put on top the dresser. These options from West Elm have me smiling.
I went to the Steven Alan sample sale last week and left with no money and these awesome shoes from Generic Surplus. I've been wearing the heck out of them and now have blisters the size of...I dunno something really big and awful but man do I look good. Heeeeeey!
I've been so busy, tired, overwhelmed you name it I can't even come up with my own posts. I found this image over at Black Eiffel, a lovely blog that I just came across and decided it was worth posting here. I love the combination of the natural wood and leather with the concrete floors and steel windows.
My super designy friend Jenn sent me this restaurant a while back and I was completely blown away by it. Everything is designed down to the smallest detail and it all works together so well. I love love love it, form the text on the walls to the laundry hanging from the ceiling. LOVE!
I recently cut off most of my long locks and while I love having short (well short to me) hair I'm having a hard time with the fact that it takes me at least 30 minutes to make it look right. I wish I could wake up and look as effortlessly chic as her.
Wow I am soo hungry right now. It probably doesn't help that I can't stop browsing through all the amazing recipes at Smitten Kitchen.
Ask and you shall receive. I came across this dining table set up over at Door Sixteen and it's something I can see working in my dining room fo sho!
