My buddy Jenn started a blog about her move across country from LA to NY. It has grown into something a bit bigger and includes a bunch of silly, awesome, and inspiring stuff. Kinda like these guys! Check it out here.

My brother and his girlfriend Kristin (K&L Projects) came down from San Francisco with my beautiful reclaimed Bay Laurel coffee table top. I had these hairpin legs hanging around so I slapped them on and called it a finished table, but now I'm thinking a maybe should get a real base fabricated, the wood is too pretty for hairpin legs.
Anywho, I was really inspired to be rid of my old walnut table, and am really feeling the whole rustic thing lately so I picked up a super funky table on Craigslist for $50, removed all the rusty screws, sanded it down, removed the legs and voila, I have yet another dining table!

My brother is moving to a house where two of the rooms have sloped ceilings and asked me to find some inspiration for him, so, without further adieu..
Went and saw Johnny Flynn at The Echo the other day...here's one of my favorite songs.
One of my favorite vintage shops from San Francisco has opened a second location in my neighborhood and it's just as awesome as the first! I highly recommend stopping in, you won't leave empty handed.
I'm pretty sure I've mentioned my friend Christi before but I wanted to give her a little shout out again. Her new leather necklaces are amazing, and the collages she makes with them are pretty darn cool too. You can buy her new pieces here.

Last Saturday I visited a few houses on the Venice Garden & Home Tour and fell in love with this bungalow by architect Talbot McLanahan.
So the other day I was driving around listening to KCRW when I hear 'Places To Go' by my buddies the Leftover Cuties! I am so proud of them and thought I would share their music with you.
Also check out their music video for 'Game Called Life' Wardrobe styling by yours truly.
Rustic country goodness.
The Patrizia leather sofa and Truss coffee table from Anthropologie have got me dreaming...
I saw this in a coffee shop earlier today and couldn't stop giggling. Hope it brings you some laughs.
Here's a sweet little song that always makes me happy. Hope it works for you too.
