With home prices soaring in my little Echo Park neighborhood, it got me thinking of the possibility of buying land rather than a house and putting a custom designed pre fab on it (this still comes in way under the price of a fixer upper). One company that caught my eye was Connect Homes.  It's immediately apparent that the founder worked for many years at Marmol Radziner before launching his own company.  You get the high end look without the high end price tag. I love.
